Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, has praised the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji, for his visionary leadership and commitment to infrastructure development, following the official commissioning of the newly constructed Ekiti State Ring Road (Phase I).
Governor Sanwo-Olu joined Governor Oyebanji and other dignitaries in Ado-Ekiti on Wednesday to inaugurate the landmark project, which coincided with the celebration of Governor Oyebanji’s third year in office.
Speaking at the event, Governor Sanwo-Olu described the Ring Road project as a testament to purposeful governance and the enduring impact of leadership focused on people-centered development. He commended Governor Oyebanji for his dedication to improving infrastructure, promoting economic growth, and enhancing the quality of life for the citizens of Ekiti State.
“This project represents more than just a road; it symbolizes connection, progress, and opportunity for the people of Ekiti State,” Sanwo-Olu said. “Governor Oyebanji’s unwavering commitment to the welfare of his people and his clear vision for sustainable development continue to set an inspiring example of leadership.”
He further noted that the completion of the Ring Road would ease traffic congestion within Ado-Ekiti, enhance mobility, and boost trade and investment across the state.
Governor Sanwo-Olu congratulated the government and people of Ekiti State on the successful completion of the project and urged continued collaboration among states in advancing regional development.
