Lagos State has taken another bold step toward reinforcing its status as Nigeria’s foremost industrial powerhouse with the official launch of the TY Logistics Park FZE in Alaro City. The project represents a major milestone in the ongoing transformation of Lagos into a globally competitive hub for trade, manufacturing, and logistics.
Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu praised General T.Y. Danjuma (Rtd.) and Senator Daisy Danjuma for their unwavering commitment to responsible and impactful investment through TY Holdings. Their vision, he noted, demonstrates genuine confidence in Lagos’ economic future and sets a strong example for investors across the country.
Strategically located within one of Lagos’ most dynamic economic corridors, the new logistics park is positioned to deliver significant value. It sits at the intersection of key national assets—the Lekki Deep Sea Port, Dangote Refinery, multiple emerging manufacturing clusters, and the soon-to-be-completed Lekki-Epe International Airport. With this prime positioning, the Grade-A logistics facility is expected to drastically reduce operational costs for businesses, enhance export capacity, and stimulate job creation for residents.
Governor Sanwo-Olu also acknowledged the Federal Government’s commitment to developing the 7th Axial Road, a critical piece of infrastructure that will strengthen the movement of goods from port to mainland. He emphasized that such collaborative efforts are vital to building a resilient and efficient supply chain network for Nigeria.
The launch aligns strongly with the administration’s THEMES+ agenda, which prioritizes modern infrastructure, improved mobility, and a more attractive environment for investors. As Alaro City continues its rapid growth as a preferred industrial destination, the government reassured stakeholders of its ongoing dedication to making Lagos the easiest and most rewarding place to invest.
With the commissioning of the TY Logistics Park FZE, Lagos moves one step closer to realizing its ambition of becoming West Africa’s premier economic hub.
