
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday received the Italian Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Roberto Mengoni, on a courtesy visit at Lagos House, Ikeja, reaffirming the commitment of both parties to strengthening bilateral relations between Lagos State and Italy.
The visit provided an opportunity for robust and engaging discussions on areas of mutual interest, particularly trade, investment, and cultural exchange. The Italian Ambassador, Mr. Roberto Mengoni, expressed appreciation for the warm reception and commended Lagos State for its economic vibrancy and cultural influence. He noted Italy’s interest in expanding its engagement with Lagos through increased trade relations, investment partnerships, and cultural initiatives that foster people-to-people connections.
