Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed the state’s readiness to collaborate with global partners and the private sector to deliver energy solutions that are secure, affordable, cleaner, and inclusive. The governor made this declaration while speaking on the importance of energy as a critical driver of economic growth and social development.
Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized that Lagos, as Nigeria’s economic hub, is committed to embracing partnerships that will accelerate the transition to sustainable and reliable energy systems. According to him, access to dependable energy remains fundamental to improving productivity, attracting investments, and enhancing the quality of life for residents.
“Lagos stands ready to collaborate with global partners and the private sector to deliver energy that is secure, affordable, cleaner, and inclusive,” the governor stated. He noted that such collaborations are essential in addressing energy deficits and meeting the demands of a fast-growing population and expanding industrial base.
