Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday received the Chief of the Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Sunday Aneke, at the Lagos House, Marina, in a high-level meeting focused on strengthening security and safeguarding lives and property across the state and the nation at large.
The courtesy visit provided an opportunity for both leaders to engage in strategic discussions on national security and the evolving role of the Nigerian Air Force in maintaining peace, stability, and public safety. Governor Sanwo-Olu commended the Air Force for its unwavering commitment to protecting Nigeria’s territorial integrity and supporting internal security operations.
During the meeting, the governor highlighted Lagos State’s continued partnership with security agencies, noting that collaboration remains critical in addressing contemporary security challenges, particularly in a rapidly growing and economically vital state like Lagos.
