
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, on Tuesday joined President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, and fellow state governors at the National Economic Council (NEC) Conference held in Abuja, where key economic issues affecting the nation were discussed.
The meeting provided an important platform for leaders at both federal and state levels to examine Nigeria’s current economic realities and identify strategies to stimulate sustainable growth. Discussions focused on practical solutions to strengthen the economy while ensuring that development remains inclusive and beneficial to all citizens.
Governor Sanwo-Olu said the central objective of the conference was to explore ways of building an economy that is resilient, adaptable, and responsive to the needs of Nigerians. He noted that the council deliberated on policies that would support job creation, attract investment, and improve productivity across critical sectors of the economy.
