The meeting, chaired by Vice President Kashim Shettima, brought together governors, ministers, and key economic managers of the nation to deliberate on pressing national issues affecting the economy and the wellbeing of Nigerians.
Speaking after the meeting, Governor Sanwo-Olu described the session as highly productive, noting that the discussions reflected a shared commitment among the tiers of government to find lasting and practical solutions to Nigeria’s economic challenges. These discussions are not just theoretical — they are aimed at driving practical outcomes that can improve the daily lives of our citizens.”
Governor Sanwo-Olu reiterated Lagos State’s readiness to continue contributing to the nation’s economic growth through innovation, infrastructure development, and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). He also commended the Federal Government’s collaborative approach in addressing economic concerns, particularly those affecting the subnational governments.
