Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, has officially commissioned the PBATKOH Lagos Central Campaign Office on Broad Street, Lagos Island, reaffirming the commitment to people-centred development and inclusive growth across the state.
Hamzat announced the commissioning in a statement, describing the event as an important step towards strengthening engagement with residents and sustaining the progress recorded in Lagos.
He noted that the development of the state depends largely on the commitment, hard work and collective contributions of its people, stressing that their welfare must remain central to government policies and programmes.
According to the deputy governor, every vision for a greater Lagos must begin with its people, adding that the state’s achievements over the years reflect the determination of residents, stakeholders and successive administrations to build a prosperous and sustainable society.
He reaffirmed the commitment to consolidating existing achievements while ensuring that communities across the state benefit from ongoing development efforts.
Hamzat also emphasised the importance of creating more opportunities for residents, improving their living conditions and ensuring that the benefits of growth reach different segments of society.
He stated that the administration remained focused on building a Lagos where everyone, regardless of their background or location, would have the opportunity to succeed and contribute meaningfully to the state’s development.
The commissioning of the PBATKOH Lagos Central Campaign Office is expected to provide a platform for engagement and coordination among supporters and stakeholders, although further details about its planned activities were not provided in the announcement.
Hamzat reiterated that putting people first would remain a guiding principle in efforts to sustain Lagos State’s development and address the needs of its growing population.
He maintained that achieving lasting progress requires collective responsibility, cooperation and continued commitment to policies that promote inclusive development and improve the quality of life of Lagos residents.
