Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to the continued development of Lagos State and Nigeria following a political rally held in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other All Progressives Congress (APC) leaders.
Sanwo-Olu disclosed this in a statement following his participation in the rally, which took place earlier today at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Lagos.
The rally attracted Lagosians and party supporters who gathered to demonstrate their support for President Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima, Lagos State Deputy Governor and APC governorship candidate, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, and his running mate, Princess Damilola Sonayon James.
According to the governor, the gathering provided an opportunity for political leaders to interact with residents, strengthen their relationship with the people and reaffirm their commitment to advancing the interests of Lagos State and Nigeria.
He expressed appreciation to everyone who attended the rally and contributed to its success, noting that their participation and show of support remained important to the political movement.
Sanwo-Olu also acknowledged the expectations of Lagosians, assuring them that their confidence and support would not be taken for granted.
He stressed that his administration would continue to work towards delivering on its promises and pursuing initiatives aimed at improving the lives of residents and promoting sustainable development across the state.
