The All Progressives Congress (APC) has highlighted the economic opportunities arising from Nigeria’s growing international partnerships under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration, particularly the country’s engagements with Brazil and China.
In a statement shared by the APC National Youth Wing, the party highlighted how diplomatic and economic relationships with international partners could translate into tangible benefits for Nigerians through increased trade, investment and business opportunities.
The party noted that Nigeria’s engagements with Brazil and China form part of broader efforts to strengthen international cooperation, expand economic relations and create new opportunities for the country’s development.
According to the APC youth wing, partnerships with Brazil present opportunities for increased trade cooperation, agricultural development and knowledge exchange, while stronger economic relations with China could support investment, infrastructure development, technology transfer and industrial growth.
The party emphasised that international partnerships should go beyond diplomatic meetings and agreements to deliver practical benefits for citizens, businesses and the wider economy.
It also stressed the importance of creating opportunities for Nigerian entrepreneurs, young people and local industries to participate in the benefits of international economic cooperation.
The APC maintained that strengthening Nigeria’s relationship with strategic international partners remains important to expanding the country’s presence in the global economy and attracting investments that can support national development.
The engagements also reflect the administration’s Renewed Hope agenda, which focuses on economic growth, job creation, investment promotion and improved opportunities for Nigerians.
The party’s National Youth Wing encouraged Nigerians to pay attention to the potential benefits of the country’s international engagements, particularly in areas that could improve livelihoods and create opportunities for future generations.
It added that the journey towards achieving the objectives of Renewed Hope 2.0 would require sustained partnerships, effective implementation of agreements and deliberate efforts to ensure that the benefits of international cooperation reach ordinary Nigerians.
