In a move to reclaim the city’s beauty, the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps launched a crackdown on rail track vendors and environmental offenders in the Oshodi area of the state.
The state Commissioner, Ministry of the Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab, revealed this in a statement and videos shared on social media on Wednesday.
He wrote, “In a continued effort to restore the aesthetics of the State, operatives of the Lagos State Environmental Sanitation Corps
#LAGESCOfficial earlier today cleared railway line in front of Arena and other parts of Oshodi, seized wares illegally displayed on the rail track.”
