Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu today hosted a group of outstanding young athletes from Lagos at Lagos House, Marina, in recognition of their remarkable performances on the international stage.
The reception was held in honour of the athletes who recently represented Nigeria at the World School Games in Doha, Qatar, and the African Youth Games in Angola. Their achievements at both competitions have drawn praise and admiration, not only for the medals won but also for the discipline, resilience, and determination they displayed throughout the events.
Speaking during the reception, Sanwo-Olu commended the athletes for making Lagos and Nigeria proud.
