Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reaffirmed the readiness of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State ahead of the 2027 general elections, following a review of activities at the party’s campaign offices.
The Governor disclosed that he recently visited the campaign offices to assess the level of preparedness and engage with members of the team on plans for the upcoming elections.
Sanwo-Olu said the engagement provided an opportunity to review the party’s readiness and ensure that its campaign structures remain focused on the task ahead.
He expressed confidence in the commitment and determination of the APC team, noting that members are fully prepared to work towards securing victory for the party across the state.
According to the Governor, the party’s preparations are focused on delivering strong electoral support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Deputy Governor Dr. Obafemi Hamzat and other APC candidates contesting various positions in Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu stressed the importance of unity, coordination and effective grassroots mobilisation as the party prepares for the 2027 elections.
He noted that a strong campaign structure and committed party members would be essential to effectively communicate the party’s programmes, achievements and vision to residents across Lagos.
The Governor also encouraged party stakeholders and supporters to remain focused and dedicated as preparations intensify, urging them to continue engaging with communities and strengthening relationships with voters.
He said the APC would approach the 2027 elections with confidence, discipline and a clear sense of purpose, while working to maintain its strong political presence in Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu reaffirmed his support for the party’s candidates and expressed optimism about their prospects at the polls.
He said the team is “locked in” and ready for the electoral contest, adding that the party’s objective is to secure victory across the board for President Tinubu, Dr. Hamzat and all APC candidates in Lagos.
The Governor’s comments come as political parties and their supporters begin preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections, with campaigns expected to intensify as the election season approaches.
