
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has joined members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at an inter-faith prayer service held at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Onikan, Lagos, for the success of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shettima and other APC candidates.
The prayer gathering brought together party members, political leaders, religious representatives and supporters in an atmosphere of unity and shared commitment to the progress of Lagos State and Nigeria.
Sanwo-Olu described the event as an opportunity for members of the political family to come together in faith and solidarity while seeking divine guidance, wisdom and continued progress for the country.
The Governor offered prayers for President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima, as well as other candidates of the APC, asking for strength and wisdom as they continue to serve the nation and pursue their political objectives.
He stressed the importance of unity, faith and hard work in achieving sustainable development and building a stronger society. According to him, the collective efforts of citizens, political leaders and other stakeholders remain essential to moving Lagos and Nigeria forward.
Sanwo-Olu also used the occasion to emphasise the need for members of the party and residents to remain committed to peaceful coexistence, cooperation and the shared goal of advancing the interests of the state and the nation.
