
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has congratulated the Chairman of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council, Prince (Dr.) Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, MON, OON, on his installation as the Baba Adini of Yorubaland.
Governor Sanwo-Olu described the new position as a significant honour and a fitting recognition of Prince Olusi’s years of leadership, service and contributions to the development of the community.
The Governor, in his congratulatory message, commended the respected statesman for his dedication to public service and his continued commitment to promoting unity, development and the wellbeing of the people.
Sanwo-Olu noted that the conferment of the prestigious title reflects the confidence and respect that Prince Olusi has earned through his longstanding contributions to society. He expressed confidence that the new role would further provide an opportunity for the renowned leader to contribute his wealth of experience and wisdom to matters affecting the Yoruba people and the wider community.
The Governor congratulated Prince Olusi on the well-deserved recognition and prayed for continued strength, wisdom and good health as he takes on the responsibilities associated with his new position.
He also acknowledged the importance of traditional and community leadership in preserving cultural values, strengthening unity and promoting peaceful coexistence among the people.
Sanwo-Olu said Prince Olusi’s experience and leadership would remain valuable assets in advancing the interests of the people and contributing to the continued progress of Lagos State and Yorubaland.
