The Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu’s administration is creating opportunities for young Nigerians to transform innovative ideas into sustainable businesses through targeted entrepreneurship initiatives.
One of such initiatives is the Student Venture Capital Grant (S-VCG), which is designed to support students with promising business ideas and encourage them to become active participants in Nigeria’s economic development.
The programme seeks to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical entrepreneurship by providing students with opportunities to develop their ideas into viable business ventures.
Through the initiative, young Nigerians are encouraged to move beyond traditional classroom learning, explore innovative solutions and acquire the skills needed to establish and manage sustainable businesses.
The APC National Youth Wing highlighted the importance of empowering students to become job creators rather than relying solely on existing employment opportunities.
The initiative also reflects the administration’s broader commitment to youth empowerment, innovation and economic inclusion, particularly at a time when young people are increasingly seeking opportunities to build successful careers and businesses.
By supporting student entrepreneurs, the programme aims to encourage creativity, strengthen business development and contribute to the growth of Nigeria’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The APC National Youth Wing maintained that investing in young people’s ideas and talents is essential to building a more productive economy, noting that empowering students today can help create a brighter and more sustainable future for the country.
