President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is expected to embark on a two-state visit to Akwa Ibom and Rivers states on Friday, November 6, 2026, as part of engagements that will include project commissioning and attendance at political rallies.
During the visit, the President is scheduled to participate in activities in both states, combining official government engagements with political events organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The visit is expected to provide an opportunity for Tinubu to commission completed projects and engage with government officials, party leaders and supporters in the two states.
In Akwa Ibom, the President is expected to participate in scheduled project-related activities before proceeding to Rivers State for further engagements.
The planned political rallies will bring together APC stakeholders, elected officials, party faithful and supporters to demonstrate the party’s presence and mobilise members across the two states.
The visit also highlights the administration’s continued engagement with state governments and political stakeholders across the federation.
Tinubu’s trip to Akwa Ibom and Rivers is expected to attract attention from political observers as preparations and activities surrounding the 2027 general elections continue to gather momentum.
