Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, today attended the Lagos State Stakeholders’ Forum of the All Progressives Congress (APC), a significant gathering aimed at evaluating the party’s progress and strengthening its collective resolve toward continued development and good governance.
The event brought together key APC leaders, party stalwarts, and grassroots members from across the state to reflect on shared achievements and renew their commitment to the values that define the party—service, accountability, and inclusive growth.
In his remarks, Governor Sanwo-Olu emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration within the party, noting that the APC in Lagos remains a shining example of disciplined leadership and progressive governance.
“It is always important for us to come together to reflect on our journey, assess our progress, and reaffirm our shared commitment to the ideals that bind us—dedicated service to the people, transparent governance, and the continuous advancement of Lagos State,” he said.
A major highlight of the forum was the unanimous endorsement of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for a second term as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Governor Sanwo-Olu described the endorsement as a recognition of President Tinubu’s visionary leadership, transformative policies, and unwavering dedication to national development.
“Our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has laid a solid foundation for economic reform, national unity, and institutional strengthening,” Sanwo-Olu stated. “His leadership continues to inspire hope, and we are proud, as a state and as a party, to support his second term agenda.”
The Governor also lauded the passion and resilience of APC members across Lagos, especially the emerging generation of young leaders who continue to carry the party’s vision with energy and purpose.
“I am encouraged by the commitment of our members—from the experienced leaders who built this movement to the vibrant youths who represent our future. Together, we will deepen our democracy, deliver people-focused governance, and build a Lagos where everyone has the opportunity to thrive,” he added.
The forum ended with a renewed sense of unity and strategic direction as the APC prepares for future elections and continues its mandate of delivering progressive governance to the people of Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
