
Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated Princess Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, OFR, on the occasion of her 67th birthday, acknowledging her years of dedicated service to Lagos State and Nigeria.
Governor Sanwo-Olu, in a goodwill message, described the birthday as an opportunity to recognise the contributions of the former Deputy Governor of Lagos State and her continued commitment to public service.
Orelope-Adefulire has spent several years contributing to governance and public administration. During her tenure as Deputy Governor of Lagos State, she served alongside the state administration and participated in efforts aimed at advancing the development of the state.
Following her tenure in Lagos, she continued her public service career at the federal level. She currently serves as the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), where she is involved in efforts to advance Nigeria’s commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The Governor noted that her career reflects a sustained commitment to serving the people and contributing to development initiatives at both state and national levels.
Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of his family, the Lagos State Government and the people of Lagos, extended warm birthday wishes to the former Deputy Governor, praying for continued good health, strength and fulfilment.
He also wished Princess Orelope-Adefulire many more years of impactful service and meaningful contributions to society.
The celebration provides an opportunity to acknowledge her public service record and her continued involvement in initiatives focused on sustainable development and improving the wellbeing of citizens.
