The All Progressives Congress (APC) has highlighted various women empowerment programmes under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Administration, as the countdown to the 2027 General Elections continues.
In a message shared by the APC National Youth Wing, the party noted that 71 days remained until the elections, while drawing attention to government initiatives aimed at promoting women’s economic participation and financial independence.
The programmes include EmpowerHer774, PowerHer774, Women in Gas and Women-on-Wheels, alongside support for women-led Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
According to the party, these initiatives are designed to provide women with access to skills development, financial opportunities, entrepreneurship support and greater participation in different sectors of the economy.
The APC explained that promoting women’s economic inclusion remains an important part of the Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in creating opportunities for women to establish businesses, develop professional skills and contribute to national development.
The party also emphasised the importance of supporting women entrepreneurs and expanding access to resources that can help them build sustainable livelihoods.
It described the programmes as examples of the administration’s efforts to translate its empowerment objectives into practical opportunities for Nigerian women.
The APC maintained that skills development, entrepreneurship and financial inclusion are essential to building a more inclusive economy where women can participate meaningfully in economic activities.
