The The Youth Bureau has declared Kadri Obafemi Hamzat as the right choice for greater leadership responsibility, stating that his track record, intellectual strength, and commitment to public service make him one of the most qualified leaders of this generation.
In a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Adekunle Adeosun, the group said Nigeria needs leaders who combine experience with innovation, discipline with compassion, and vision with practical execution.
According to the Youth Bureau, Hamzat has consistently demonstrated these qualities through his years in government and his role in supporting transformational governance in Lagos State.
“Hamzat stands out because he is prepared, experienced, and focused. He understands governance, respects institutions, and has shown capacity to deliver results. He is clearly the right one,” the statement read.
The group noted that young people especially desire leaders who are competent, technologically aware, and committed to creating systems that work for everyone.
It stated that Hamzat’s background in policy, education, science, and administration positions him as a leader capable of navigating modern challenges while driving sustainable solutions.
According to the Youth Bureau, leadership today must go beyond politics and include the ability to solve problems, build institutions, and inspire confidence among citizens.
“Hamzat represents the kind of leadership many young Nigerians want to see — intelligent, calm, productive, and focused on solutions rather than distractions,” Adeosun stated.
The group further praised his role in advancing governance reforms, supporting infrastructure growth, and contributing to strategic planning in Lagos.
It said these achievements demonstrate that he has both the technical understanding and human approach necessary for higher office.
The Youth Bureau also described him as a unifying figure capable of bringing together different interests for the common good.
“At a time when people desire stability and progress, Hamzat offers both. He has the experience to govern and the mindset to innovate,” the statement added.
The group urged Nigerians to support leaders with tested records, noting that national development depends on rewarding competence and integrity.
It concluded by expressing confidence that Hamzat has the capacity, character, and vision required to succeed in any leadership position he may be called upon to serve.
