Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has paid glowing tribute to Nobel Laureate, Professor Wole Soyinka, on the occasion of his 92nd birthday, describing him as a true living legend whose remarkable contributions have shaped Nigeria’s literary, cultural and intellectual landscape.
In a congratulatory message, Governor Sanwo-Olu praised the renowned playwright, poet and essayist for a lifetime dedicated to the pursuit of truth, justice and excellence, noting that his influence extends far beyond his historic achievement as Africa’s first Nobel Prize winner in Literature.
