The Campaign for Dignity in Governance (CDG) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for what it described as his unwavering commitment to implementing reforms aimed at repositioning Nigeria’s economy, strengthening public institutions, and laying a sustainable foundation for national development.
In a statement signed by its Convener, Razaq Olokoba, the organisation said President Tinubu has continued to demonstrate uncommon courage by pursuing policies designed to address long-standing structural challenges affecting the country’s economic growth and governance.
According to Olokoba, transformational leadership is often defined by the willingness to make difficult decisions that secure long-term benefits rather than pursuing temporary political popularity.
“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has consistently demonstrated that genuine leadership requires courage, vision, resilience and the determination to confront complex national challenges. While reforms may demand patience and sacrifice, history has shown that countries achieve sustainable progress when leaders are prepared to take responsible decisions in the national interest.”
The organisation noted that the administration has continued to prioritise economic reforms, infrastructure development, investment promotion, fiscal discipline, and institutional strengthening as part of its broader Renewed Hope Agenda.
The Campaign for Dignity in Governance stated that Nigeria’s long-term prosperity depends on policy consistency, responsible governance, and the creation of an enabling environment for businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs.
The group also commended the President for promoting greater collaboration with state governments and encouraging reforms capable of improving national competitiveness and economic resilience.
According to the organisation, effective governance requires both political courage and strategic foresight, qualities it believes President Tinubu has continued to demonstrate.
The Campaign for Dignity in Governance reaffirmed its support for policies that strengthen democratic institutions, encourage economic growth, create employment opportunities, and improve the welfare of Nigerians.
“We commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for remaining focused on building a stronger Nigeria. We encourage the administration to sustain the current reform momentum while continuing to prioritise inclusive development, transparency, and national unity.”
