The Youth Bureau has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his continued commitment to creating opportunities for young Nigerians through policies that promote innovation, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, skills development, and human capital investment.
In a statement signed by its Publicity Secretary, Adekunle Adeosun, the organisation said Nigeria’s greatest asset remains its youthful population and applauded the Federal Government for recognising the importance of investing in the next generation.
According to the Youth Bureau, sustainable national development depends on creating an environment where young people can acquire relevant skills, access economic opportunities, establish businesses, and contribute meaningfully to national growth.
“Young people are not merely beneficiaries of government policies; they are partners in nation-building. We commend President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for sustaining initiatives that encourage entrepreneurship, innovation, digital inclusion and youth participation in governance.”
The organisation noted that Nigeria’s future competitiveness will depend largely on investments in education, technology, research, vocational training, and job creation.
The Youth Bureau encouraged the Federal Government to continue expanding programmes that support startups, small businesses, creative industries, agriculture, manufacturing, and digital innovation.
According to the organisation, empowering young Nigerians remains one of the most effective strategies for reducing unemployment, promoting economic growth, and strengthening national stability.
The group further urged young people across the country to continue developing their skills, embracing innovation, and contributing positively to national development.
The Youth Bureau reaffirmed its commitment to supporting policies that improve opportunities for young Nigerians while encouraging greater collaboration between government, educational institutions, civil society organisations, and the private sector.
