Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated his Chief of Staff, Mr. Tayo Ayinde, on the occasion of his 62nd birthday, describing him as a trusted brother and a dependable pillar of his administration.
Sanwo-Olu, in a congratulatory message, commended Ayinde for his loyalty, dedication and strong work ethic, noting that the Chief of Staff had played a significant role in the administration’s efforts to build a Greater Lagos.
The Governor acknowledged Ayinde’s service alongside him through two consecutive terms, describing his contributions to the development of Lagos State as invaluable.
According to Sanwo-Olu, Ayinde has remained a dependable partner from the political campaign period through the day-to-day responsibilities of governance, demonstrating commitment to the administration’s vision and programmes.
He noted that Ayinde’s role had extended beyond his official responsibilities, as his dedication and experience had contributed significantly to the effectiveness of the State Executive Council over the years.
Sanwo-Olu praised his Chief of Staff for consistently bringing loyalty, discipline and diligence to his duties, describing these qualities as rare attributes that have strengthened their working relationship and contributed to the administration’s achievements.
The Governor said Ayinde’s commitment to public service over the past seven years had been particularly commendable, adding that his efforts had contributed meaningfully to the progress recorded across the state.
While celebrating the milestone, Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of his wife, Mrs. Ibijoke Sanwo-Olu, his family and the people of Lagos State, wished Ayinde continued success and fulfilment in his service to the state and the nation.
He prayed for God’s continued blessings, strength, wisdom and good health for the Chief of Staff as he continues to contribute to public service.
