The Lagos State Real Estate Regulatory Authority (LASRERA) has opened a new Satellite Office in Eti-Osa as part of efforts to bring regulatory services closer to residents, real estate practitioners, developers and organisations operating within the area.
The new office, located along Omorinre Johnson Street, Lekki, is expected to improve accessibility and make it easier for members of the public and stakeholders in the real estate sector to access LASRERA’s services without travelling long distances to the Authority’s headquarters at the Lagos State Secretariat, Alausa.
The development is part of the Lagos State Government’s broader commitment to improving service delivery and ensuring that regulatory agencies remain accessible and responsive to the needs of residents.
Speaking at the premises of the new office, the Coordinating Director of LASRERA, ESV. Mrs. Temitope Akinbola, said the establishment of the Eti-Osa Satellite Office underscores the Authority’s commitment to providing efficient, responsive and accessible regulatory services across Lagos.
She explained that the new facility would help strengthen engagement between LASRERA and stakeholders within Eti-Osa and its surrounding communities, while also making regulatory processes more convenient for those operating in the real estate industry.
According to her, bringing the Authority’s services closer to residents would contribute to improved interaction between government and the public, while ensuring that real estate practitioners have easier access to necessary regulatory support and guidance.
The satellite office is also expected to complement the operations of LASRERA’s headquarters by decentralising access to some of its regulatory services and reducing the need for residents to travel to Alausa for routine enquiries and related matters.
The opening reflects LASRERA’s continued efforts to strengthen regulation within Lagos’ rapidly growing real estate sector and promote a more accessible and efficient service environment.
The Authority reaffirmed its commitment to working with real estate practitioners, developers and members of the public to promote professionalism, compliance and responsible practices across the sector.
The Eti-Osa Satellite Office is expected to further enhance LASRERA’s presence and service delivery within one of Lagos’ major real estate corridors .
