
Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of the Lagos State Government, joined his colleagues from the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) on a condolence visit to the Governor of Niger State, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Umar Bago, to commiserate with the government and people of the state over recent tragic incidents that resulted in the loss of lives and destruction of property.
The delegation of governors expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with the victims and their families, acknowledging the pain and hardship caused by the unfortunate events. Governor Sanwo-Olu described the visit as a demonstration of unity, compassion, and shared responsibility among members of the Progressive Governors’ Forum in moments of national distress.

“We came to express our condolences and stand in solidarity with Governor Bago and the people of Niger State during this difficult time,” Governor Sanwo-Olu said. “Our thoughts and prayers are with all the families affected.
