The All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth Wing has commended the impressive turnout of participants at the PBAT Door-to-Door Lagos Rally, describing the event as a demonstration of grassroots mobilisation, unity and growing political engagement.
The rally attracted people from different backgrounds, with participants filling the streets of Lagos in a colourful display of enthusiasm and solidarity for the Renewed Hope agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a statement shared by the APC National Youth Wing, the event was described as a gathering that brought together individuals with different experiences and stories but a common interest in supporting the political movement.
The youth wing noted that the turnout reflected the importance of grassroots engagement in connecting political leaders with residents and communicating government policies and programmes directly to the people.
It also praised Dr. Abdullahi Dayo Israel, the APC National Youth Leader, for his vision, coordination and leadership in promoting grassroots participation and taking the Renewed Hope message closer to communities across Lagos State.
According to the youth wing, door-to-door campaigns provide an opportunity for party members and supporters to interact with residents, explain the party’s agenda and encourage participation in the political process.
The rally also highlighted the role of young people in political mobilisation and their contribution to strengthening party structures at the community level.
The APC Youth Wing emphasised that effective grassroots campaigns depend on coordination, sustained engagement and the involvement of supporters who are willing to communicate the party’s message within their neighbourhoods.
The gathering’s lively atmosphere and participation from different sections of society were presented as key features of the event, which sought to strengthen connections between the party and the electorate.
The youth wing further stressed the importance of maintaining the momentum generated by the rally through continued engagement with communities and residents.
