The Governor of Adamawa State and Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Council, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has given newly inaugurated committees of the council until November 6, 2026, to submit their work plans ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Fintiri announced the directive on Thursday, October 29, 2026, shortly after inaugurating the various committees as the ruling party intensifies preparations for the forthcoming elections.
The deadline is aimed at ensuring that all committees put forward clear strategies, objectives and programmes that will guide their activities during the electioneering period.
The governor, who chairs the Adamawa State APC Campaign Council, is expected to oversee the coordination of the committees as they begin preparations for the party’s campaign activities across the state.
The submission of work plans is expected to provide a framework for effective planning, coordination and implementation of campaign strategies ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The move also signals an effort by the Adamawa APC leadership to strengthen its organisational structure and ensure that the different committees understand their responsibilities before the commencement of major campaign activities.
With the November 6 deadline approaching, members of the newly inaugurated committees are expected to work within the stipulated period to develop and submit their respective plans.
The development comes as political parties across Nigeria gradually intensify their preparations for the 2027 general elections, with internal organisation, mobilisation and campaign strategies becoming key priorities.
Fintiri’s directive is expected to set the pace for the activities of the Adamawa APC Campaign Council as the party works towards building a coordinated campaign structure ahead of the polls.
