Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has celebrated the Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, on his 68th birthday, commending his contributions to the development of Lagos and the growth of the party.
Sanwo-Olu, in a goodwill message, joined Ojelabi’s family, friends, political and religious associates, party leaders and members of the APC in Lagos to celebrate the milestone.
The Governor described Ojelabi as a dedicated public servant who has contributed significantly to his community, the church, local government, constituency, Lagos State and Nigeria at large.
He praised the APC chairman for demonstrating integrity, professionalism and commitment in the various public offices he has occupied within and outside Lagos State.
Sanwo-Olu also acknowledged Ojelabi’s leadership of the Lagos APC, noting that he has worked tirelessly alongside other party leaders and members to sustain the party’s dominance in the state.
According to the Governor, the APC has remained in control of Lagos for almost three decades, with the contributions of committed party leaders and members playing an important role in maintaining the progressive administration in the state.
He described Ojelabi’s 68th birthday as an opportunity to appreciate his years of service and dedication to both the party and the people.
Sanwo-Olu, on behalf of his wife, Ibijoke, the Lagos State Government and residents, prayed for Ojelabi to enjoy good health, happiness and continued success as he marks the new age.
He wished the APC chairman many more years of impactful service to Lagos State and Nigeria.
